wire routing

RE: wire routing
It is bad if u don't connect the right things with them. Also should run the wires according to the factory layout in order to avoid induction crossfires. FYI, the numbers stamped on the coils aremeaningless unless the coils are mounted on the proper position.

RE: wire routing
i was sayin mayb the wires arent on right cause lately ive been havin a hard time startin up
i hear the fuel pump prime when i turn it to on
i check the fuel line cap thing and pressed it down and no fuel came out before i started it
i kno i got a bad IAC valve and ECT sensor because i got it scanned and those were bad
can these 2 things cause high idle, hard to start mornings, and misfires?
please help

RE: wire routing
alright so here is wat happened
i put one of the new ECTs on and my car drives a lil better and the SES light went off but it still misfires
Does the ECT that controls the Temp gauge in the car cause it to misfire?
or does the IAC valve cause it to misfire cause i need both

RE: wire routing
The ECT sensor that feeds the gauge has only one purpose, and that's to feed the gauge. Wouldn't cause misfire. If you're IAC isn't working properly, it shouldn't cause any misfire, as the computer sees how much air is coming in and would adjust accordingly.

RE: wire routing
There are many problems that won't bring up the MIL. Misfirs are usually caused by ignition problems or fuel mixture problems. When is the last time that the plugs and wires were changed?
