Why dont they make a K&N cold air intake for a 98 3.8?

How come K&N doesnt make n FIPK intake for a 98 Camaro 3.8. They make it for 99-02 but not for a 98. Will a 99-02 K&N intake work on a 98?

believe it or not the 98 is the only f-ed up year lol. ANGLED trottle body................ thats why even if you get the whisper air lid, you have to use dryer hose because the angle is all messed up.

so I wont be able to use the 99-02 K&N FIPK intake then? that sucks real bad, does the whisper air lid actually work though?

you might hear it. i have a 98, 3.8 i had the full ss hood, lid, slp induction, k&n, flowmaster catback, low temp thermo, jet chip...
now all i have is the catback and i cant notice a diff. im glad i got almost what i paid for it all though. i might have gained 8 hp max @ 100 mph.
