i have a 95 auto camaro and right before it shifts i would say 2000 rpm's before shift it kind of whines like a turbo does. and i just dont know if this is normal or what. but there is no mechanical problem just whines i dont know is there a part on my car i dont know about?

 

yeah i thinks its a normal sound because i have heard mine do that sometimes

 

Most likely your alternator bearigns are going

 

i have hered that all 3.8's whine. no matter what.
