ok. Maybe what I'll do is bring it to a stereo installation shop and get them to look inside my wiring.... Unless someone knows a better place to go. My mechanic said that wasn't really their area, when I asked them. (I unhooked the deck btw, not just the face, but I was considering that, too. Only, I can't understand why it makes the car not turn over for an indefinite amount of time?.... What's going on inside it? I was even considering that the fuel-air might be off, and eventually it was clearing out... like somehow it wasn't getting enough air. Or computer?...

well try a crankshaft position sensor might help start up but doesnt account for car randomly shutting off

 

Can we see figure 1 please ground wires etc... this would probably be where his problem is

But the drain might, you think? Is that what was happening to your friend's Mazda? If so I'll go with that. I also have an opinion from a guy it might be the problem is ignition related items are heating up and shorting out. Then when those items cool down the car starts.

 

Do you have a check engine light? If so, what are the codes?
