What would you guys say is the best place or website to buy a turbo for my V6? Once installed, do you think I could beat a turbocharged Supra or a Supercharged 2003 SVT Cobra? Thx.

 

i dont know where you could get one, but no, you may keep up, but no where near beatin it, not unless you build the **** out of that v6

These make can/do make something for your application I believe. I don't think with a stock bottom end though, that you'd be able to beat those two cars with just a turbo.

that depends on the supra the turboed 1Jz if my memory serves me packs in the 250 horse range that would be no problem for a turbo 3.8 now the 2Jz is a differant story ath 320 horse and the cobra well thats gonna depend on the boost your runnin

 

so a 320 hp supra with no traction to speak of is a "different story" but a 420 stock bhp cobra (yes, they were underrated too) depends on boost level? The eaton on the cobra also makes boost right away as opposed to the pikes peak torque curve of the supra.

 

specter why you gotto break ***** gah lol well you very right spec the the 2jz is overrated the fast and the furious did that for us what im saying is that even running just a very few pounds of boost the 1jz would be easy the 2jz would require more boost and the cobra the most ofcorse but what im saying is if he really plans to try and take out a 450 horse car then hes gonna be running 20 + pounds of boost through there which means a complte overhaul of internals rear end the whole nine that whatit was ment to mean apparently i didnt come out that way
