When changing clutch, I twisted my rear end by accident
So the torque arm, driveshaft and now tranny are out and when I had my friends push my car into a parking spot over night I used the E brake instead of the footbrake. now my rear end is supposedly twisted upward with the differential higher than it should be. If I am unable to get it back into place, I am thinking of buying a rear end from a z28 because those came with LSDifferentials, correct? Are they interchangeable?

What you're saying is the nose of the center section (pinion) lifted? That's no big whoop, you'll be able to rotate it back down and reinstall the torque arm when the time comes. That upward movement is what the torque arm is there to prevent by the way.

what yr is your car? what yr is the rearend u want to use? do u have traction control? the rearends are interchangable but some have a three sensor abs system and some have four, some have traction control and some dont. im asuming u want the disk brakes and posi trac.

Not only did it like roll out of place, it bent the shock bolts but I finally got it back to where it was. Good news is that I only have to replace the shock bolts and not the whole thing. Wish me luck lol
