I have 16s on my car right now but i want to put on17s will i have to calibrate the speedometer?

 

only if the actual tire size is bigger or smaller than the stock. like you can have a stock 215 55 16 and put 215 45 17 on it, and you will only be off by 1/2 mph @ 60mph

but if you put 215 55 17 on it you will be off by about 4 @ 60

 

sleeper nailed it, you'll be fine because you'll use a lower profile tire
