Smooth the air filter box (chip off the ridges and sand smooth
Remove air intake resonator (replace with a elbow bend from any hardware store)
Weight reduction...spare tire and jack or get creative

well you can do the free ram air mod. That is where you cut out the bottom of the air box. You can do the free whisperlid all you got to do is remove the fins on the air intake and then sand it out. A cheap mod is a 3X3 ferco coupling which works just like a SLP smooth rubber bellows.

its a pretty simple thing to do and ALOT cheaper than an SLP cold air intake
And If ur car is 98-02 Look at ur airbox lid and u will see fins underneath the lid, use pliers to take them off and use sand paper to smooth it out wash the lidVERY good then put it back on.
