Most likely an Auburn 3.08 with limited slip. Depends though... You'd have to check your RPO codes which are either in the glove box or on the inside of the door on the end.

 

Probably the Auburn, I believe that 99 was the first year that the Torsen was the replacement for LS. If it is a Torsen it should be a type 2. And the gears are cataloged by series of carrier. Series 1 are for 3:23 and lower ratios and the series 2 is 3:42 and higher ratio. I am not sure what the differences are in the series 1 vs 2, but I just order a set of gears for a 99 with the 3:42 Torsen, so the info is fairly fresh.
I did an RPO search to find mine....good thing tooI was about to order the wrong gear ratio!
