what else can i do for 4000 dollars?
so i have pretty much figured out what is wrong with my baby and am going to rectify the problem as soon as possible. from the advice i got on here and through talking with several people, im pretty sure that i can get the problem fixed for a grand which will leave me with 3 more to go crazy. what do you all think i could do to increase the performance of my 95 3.4 v6? any possibility of adding headers. any work would have to include parts and labor, i can get the parts cheaper as my father works at a parts place.
im sorry, im new to the site and still haven't exactly figured out all the inner workings. my apologies. i pretty much wanted to enhance what i already had, i would really like to keep this car until my kids are grown, if not longer.
Well, the 3.4 isn't the best performance platform.
That being said, it's still an engine. CAI, full exhaust, heads/cam, FI of some sort, you can take your pick.
For 3 grand, start with bolt ons like a CAI, full exhaust, and gears.

im with that to any more with a 3.4 is a waste i would also say that a pcm tune after that would help pcmforless did me right so
For the money you could by a crate ZZ4 from GM with a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty not sure what they are going for now a days but you can pick one up for well under 4000 and still have money left over the a transmission.
