so ya, im in the market for a car alarm system i can put in my 94? i was thinking python, but theres so many idk whats good, or where to start really, any replies appreciated thanks guys,

ya i think im going to buy a viper 350hv, but i was wondering if anyone else had experience with it or viper at all, thanks ~~~

 

Well I work at best buy and when I got my car I asked the installers what the best on the market is and they said by far Viper is. Now I was going to get the very best that viper offered because I didn't want anyone even close to my car but the very best version comes with remote start and I have a 5spd so they couldn't put it in. But I got the 3002 that is the best without remote start thatViper offersand it is awsome. If anytihng bumps into my car it the alarm churps to warn, which on my 2-waybeeps and tells me someone bumped into it,and then the second timethe alarm goes off, which my remotegoes off with beeping. The remote I have isn't the LCD displayed but the next 2 way down from that. But I would go to vipers website because the installers were telling me they're coming out with a 2-way remote that works up to a mile or more which would be awsome. Plus on top of that Viper has a really good garentee that will cover up to $25,000 in anything stolen including your car. The first thing I did to my car is put an alarm in it because I'm going to ASU and I'm parking on campus and cars get broken into EVERY night and when someone see my bright blue blinking LCD light in my car they know it's not worth it. Probly the best thing I've bought for my car.

 

ya man thats exactly why i want an alarm, i don't wnat my car to get broken into on campus, how much did your sytem cost, and did you install it yourself?
