Well where did my coolant go??

Default Well where did my coolant go??

every two weeks I have to add antifreeze! The temps stay around 200 no matter what, I'm stock no mods yet..

Which engine is in your camaro? Did you have it pressure tested?

there is a plastic elbow that fails. can you track a leak anywere, any puddles after setting? heres a thread that talks about the piece.

check the underside of the oil fill cap to see if theres some milky coolered slim there. is the oil ok, no water in oil? i had a problem like that and one of the hoses was leaking by the clamp, it was leaking so slow that it didnt show a puddle, had to get under there and move and pull/poke the hoses and found it.

I'm thinking its a head gasket.. I'm also getting a milky yellowish liquid on the bottom of my oil cap.

that could be it. could also be the intake manifold gasket. they are known to leak into the oil.

O had my intake manifold repaired last year. It never had any puddles the only clue I hade was over the water pump it looked darker than the rest of the engine like it was slight wet. You should also check out the small heater hoses I had one section leak a fine mist and it took me forever to find
