Default Water in rear LH footwell????

I own a '97 in extremely nice condition with 68K miles. After driving home today (in rain), I noticed that the carpet in the rear LH footwell was very wet. It's definitely fresh water (I checked heater core and no leaks) and all of my window seals are in great shape as well. Any idea where this might be coming from?

My guess is the water is coming from outside.
Seriously, moist likely it's getting in where the t-top meets the roof, or the t-top seal at the top of the window, or lower where the window meets the rear sail panel. Of course, if you don't have t-tops, that shoots down 2 out of 3! Best way to tell is to take the car through a carwash, and arm yourself with a bath towel. Then watch where the water is spraying in. I've found a water leak that I didn't know I had that way before. Got me good and wet too.

Thanks for the tip! I do have a hardtop, so I guess I'll try the car wash tomorrow.

the rear hatch seal has been known to leak to the rear area.

I had a missing rubber plug on the driver side underneath the carpet so everytime it rained hard on the highway or I ran through water it would soak the carpet. took forever to figure that one out.
