about two years ago i had to have a new key made for my 94 camaro i could have sworn then that the dealer told me it was a vat 7 code ,about 6 months ago i had a guy put in a new switch well today i went to the dealer to have him scan my key so i can order one of the security overide plugs and he said it was a vat 6 is this possible could a vat 6 key work in a vat 7 code switch because ever since he put the switch in my securty light stays on most of the time and lately it comes on when i try to start it and i have to wait the 3 minutes and try again sometimes over and over please help!
