Being that you rebuilding the engine, get a full gasket set, the seals are included.

I have got the seals that came in the kit. I was doing some other research about putting valve stem seals on both the intake and the exhaust valve's.

Is this a good Idea on the 3.4 or should I just put them on the exhaust valve as normal?.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks

Put them on both, the purpose is to control the amount of oil between the valve stem and valve guide. If you leave them out you will have asmoky car.

Pete, can I use the Viton full valve stem seals or should I use the o-ring type on one and the cap type on the other ? This is my first V6 rebuild always worked on the old style SB V8 which was a little different many Yrs ago.

Thanks

One set of seals is enough. I checked the FSM amd it shows seals on both intake and exhaust, so I don't know what happened to your engine.
