v8 injectors and intake on v6
Have any of you guys heard of anyone ever putting v8 injectors and intake on a 3800 II engine? well i just purchased a 2001 v6 camaro, and when i first looked at the engine the intake and injectors looked ok. But when i went to ask the dealer for a carfax, he turned red [:@]and then he began to explain to me how the car was when it arrived on the lot and he said it was bucking like a bull.lol That someone had put this stuff on the car and it had to be taken off. Does anyone think it would have internally wounded the 3800 by doing this and if you know anyone crazy enough that has tried it before let me know.
Too big an injector will make the car run rich, especially at WOT in open loop. The excessive fuel could foul plugs and make the car run crappy. There is also a possibility, but unlikely, that the excess fuel washed the oil from the cylinder walls resulting in damage to rings and cylinder bores.
You need to look at the Carfax report closely, as far as I know Carfax only shows accidents that were reported to the DMV, and has no info on engine problems such as your seller indicated. Looks like the car got into an accident.

Oh this was no accident, in fact the previous owner intentionally done that to try and make it faster. when i asked for a carfax he got nervous cause he knew that i was trying to investigate the cars past, however the carfax came out perfect. But i got out of him what i needed to know.
