i am building a auto cross car out of a 95 v-6 any info would help with transmission ideas and gear selections i am useing a first gen small blk and i would like to use a 5 speed manual but dont really know what year to use

 

What organization will you be racing with? With SCCA and NASA (and I'm sure other clubs as well), you have to be very careful what mods you do, lest you change the wrong thing and bump yourself to a very uncompetitive class. Of course, if you already changed the engine... that's it, you're going to get creamed, lol...

IMHO, suspension mods are going to help you a lot more than transmission or engine mods.
