Default v6 camaro build thread

hi so i have a 2002 v6 camaro i have not really done anything perfomance wise yet but i will be posting what i have done so far and please give me your input and things i can change or work on... also the first steps on what to do first for performance...and please dont tell me to just go get a v8 im only 17 and my parents will not let me get a v8

ok so this is basically exactly what my car look like when i bought it. the only difference is the the rims were chrome

i purchased a cheap FAKEmaster exhaust sytem untill i can afford a better one. i was thinking about magnaflows??? i also bought some ss rims and got them powdercoated gloss black they needed new tires so i bought so decent 500 dollar tires 1272859502.jpg?t=1272859971

my friend hooked it up with a sound sytem. 4 interior speakers powered by a rocksford fosgate 300 watt amp. and two 10 inch earthquake subwoofers powered by a 1200 watt almani amp. and also a clarion deck 1272860232.jpg?t=1272860403

so now i have my ugly chrome stock rims and they have been on craigslist for 3 months. i was going to sell them for 250 but good thing i didnt because some trans am wanted to be a sleeper and go back to the stock look. i could not believe it but he actually traded me for a set of ruff racing rims1272860220.jpg?t=1272861547

your manifolds are pretty good on the 3.8, i would go with a tune and appropriate setup, (intake, thermostat,etc.) should help bump your engine up. if you want to go farther, then get into headers, cam, rockers. After which if you still want to keep going, then you got a pretty good budget.

Extremely sharp1 ill post some pics of mine once i put the heads back in it within the next few weeks. You have gave me some pretty good ideas for mine.
