Default V6 Camaro

Hi All,
I'm new to this forum and new to the camaros as well.
I just purchased my 2000 V6 camaro it is really a wonderful car with a t-top and I really love it.
The only thing that I don't like is the sound of the exhaust!! It just doesn't match the look of the car.
I wonder what can be done to get a nice roar out of it within a reasonable amount of money.

Thanks and regard

Youtube has exhaust clips if your looking for a specific sound. As for what can be done, Intake, Headers, Cat-back, High-Flow cats... Alot of it depends on your city's regulations and how deep your wallet goes.

Post some pictures of the car while your at it.

Personally if I were you I would throw a stock Z28 Dual outlet muffler on it. They make the 3800 sound pretty beefy. But no matter what you do, its gonna sound raspy after 3000rpm if you don't keep the stock set up.

Once again, My apologies. I was trying to rack up 10 posts so I could start a new thread about my hood on my car. I haven't been using the site for long and I'm not used to the layout. Sorry. Wont happen again

Thanks for the recommendation, you know what, it's been a year now and haven't replaced the exhaust yet. I listened to the Z28 mufflers and they sound good on the 3.8.

I'll definitely consider it

Good luck with the exhaust! That's what I just bought for my 3.4. Not installed yet tho. We'll see what it does for my Camaro
