getting ready to put on a rearend from a z28 and wondering how much this will throw off my speedo cuz of the dif gear ratio? if so how does anyone know how to tune a 94 3.4 cuz from everything i've read you can't tune anything older than a 96 but i don't really understand all the computer stuff...so im just wondering...any info would be helpful.

 

do you know what gears were in your car and are in the new rear end

 

they sell different colored gears that go in the trans for different gear ratios. they are inside where the spedo sensor is.

 

i believe the gears in it now are 2.4 something and the new ones would be the 3.42s. and what is this colored box you are referring to?
