I have a 1994 Camaro Base Model 3.4L and when i go to turn on my parking lights or head lights the interior Gear change light infront of the center console doesn't light up so i can see what gears im using and it's starting to get annoying. I'm trying to fix this car up so i can resell it this summer and don't want there to be anything wrong with it so the next owner knows he's getting a very clean camaro.

I know it's probably just a light bulb underneath the shifter but im only 17 and im not really good with f-bodies and don't want to tear something apart without any heads ups... If it is just a bulb can anyone tell me where I might find one if it's a special bulb?

 

no special bulb. u have an auto trans? the shift indicator plate or bezel pops out and the bulb is under it.

if u want to take the bezel off all the way so u can clean it ull have to take the shift *** off. on the auto theres a staple looking thing on the front that u pull out then the *** pull right off. to change the bulb u dont really have to but it is easier. the bulb is held in with one of those sockets that turn a little then u pull it out. the bulbs are the little push in 1s that u dont have to turn.
