This is strange, but I'm gonna have to agree with Chappie 100%. Probably because we bothsport a 3.8

This is from your other thread asking the same thing.

I don't know too much about K5 Blazers or what you would be asking, but that guy's Firebird is probably worth about $5,000-$6,0000 depending on the condition and options. If you are willing to settle for a V6 theres no problem with that. 3.8 Series II's are great reliable engines, and it will give you time to get use to the car before you move up to an LS1/LT1. Not only will you have a sweet mode of transportation, but being a new driver the 3.8 will hopefully keep you out of trouble, and keep insurance costs low.

id say more like 4000-7000 depending on options but yea, deffently worth more than a non running K5(although i'd kill to have a project K5, for mudding) and when you save up the extra 2 or 3grand, sell the v6 for a "cheap" LS1 or a real nice LT1. only problem is winter, but they are diveable in winter if u desire.. but ur K5 dont run anyway. any pics of either vehicles?

Definitly get it, you dont need the power of an LS1 at 16. Believe me, i bought an LT1 Camaro 4 months after I turned sixteen and god only knows how many times i almost killed myself, and others for that matter. Also the 3.8 is a great engine, very reliable and lots of parts.

Besides, I have a 2000 firebird v6 5 speed
