My trany fluid is leaking it...... The car shifts fine...... it's a 85 camaro 2.8 liter......I've been told it is a torque converter seal what do I do I have friends that have done these things before and they say it's a torque converter seal too what do you guys think my e-mail is mombofan1@aol.com thank

There are numerous places that a transmision can leak from. You need to take a good look to get a general idea where the leak is, and then take the transmission out to fix it, If it leaks from the front it could be the torque converter, the pump, or something else.

 

well ya I got a torque converter seal for $5 so I'm thinking of doing that just for the hell of it
