Question Tips for improved MPG's in a 3.4L V6?

Hey,

So I'm two weeks into my Camaro ownership now, and I've gotta say that the mileage isn't all that great.
I bought the car as a more "functional" car to have on the side of my '87 Corvette C4, but while the Corvette gives me about 28-30MPG in mixed traffic, I get something around the lines of 18-20MPG with the Camaro.

On the 'Vette's 5.7L L98 TPI engine it was just a matter of checking the vacuum lines and setting the TPS and IAC to get it to the mileage I was making. But how do I go about improving the mileage on the Camaro?
I guess it's different since this car has a more powerfull computer, so it relies more on that than making actual adjustments on screws and bolts.

I'm going to swap all spark plugs and spark plug wires, O2 sensors, MAP sensor, Automatic transmission filter, fuel filter and some other things this upcoming week, so hopefully that will give it a slight improve.

Happy midsommer from Sweden.

wow, you should be getting 25-30 depending on driving. check for dragging brakes, low tire pressure and plugged cat as well as planed projects.

I was getting 25-29 with my stock lt1 and from what I gather the v6 didn't do much better if at all. built lt1 is 18 to 24 depending on if I get it running correctly and keep my foot out of it,,,,

Oh damn! But that's good to know, since then I know there actually is room for improvement and not just something I have to live with.
I'll get back in about a week with how the car performs after the fixes I wrote about in my original post.
