Thermostat Replace
#2
Go to the store and pick up the Haynes book for the Camaro. It comes in handy every time.
Edit: If you look under the front part of your intake man, just follow the upper hose coming from your radiator. It will go right to your thermostat. To get at it remove the air intake duct. You will see it better. Remove the clamp and hose. There should be 2 bolts. Undo those and you might have to use a screw driver or something give the cover a tap or 2 to break the seal and also to pop out the thermostat. Place the new in. Scrape off the old seal on the bottom of the cover and apply the new gasket if there is one. Some have a rubber seal. Make sure when you put the new one in its the same as the old one and that the spring goes into the engine.
