I was thinking about doing that, But I'm not sure which ones I like more

I saw this write up on LS1 Tech and I liked his idea:

I love my LT1s. On my one stock light, there was a big crack in the lens, so I wanted to replace them regardless because of that. I had ordered these rare lights that I only found on one site and they were put on back order...cost $200...and I never got them. I ended up canceling the order and was never refunded my money. So I'm currently fighting that. So I went with LT1s, which were my second choice. That wiring idea is interesting...I don't find it necessary personally.

What kind of lights did you end up getting thetal?

Would I be able to solder the tail light sockets off of a 97-02 camaro to my car?

Hm, I'm a little confused. Why are you swapping sockets?

They shipped me the wrong lights. The prob is they don't have the right lights. So instead of fileing down that little plastic piece I could just swap out the sockets. For 30 bucks I could get all the sockets from a guy of craigs list

Changing sockets is going to be more time than just filing down the plastic on the lights...just seems like more unnecessary work than what's needed.

I understand it would be more work but I'm fine with that. I would prefer it fit the way it was suppose to.
Do you know if it will work?

I wouldn't see why not...never did it, never had any reason to. As long as everything gets soldered to the correct wire, it should be fine.
