Looks like a bone stock T5 to me. I took some pictures of mine but they came out blurry. But your picture look just like mine. Your bell housing has the 15 deg tilt on it so that means it the stock GM/Camaro bell housing. There is no adapter plate so your tranny can not be a T45. I found a sight that makes a generic adater but it will not work on Camaros because of the tilt. Also the case is larger and would most likely require you to cut the floor to fit it in If you had a bell housing. The only Bell housing that might work would be the 3.8 housing that was on the El Camino's in the 80's But that would not have the tilt and you would have an T45 adapter and a cut out floor.
Your shifter argument makes even less sence since every place I have check has listed the T45 and the T5 as the same shifter for the mustang. SInce the T45 is not designed for the camaro your trans and shifter would not be designed to sit on a 15 deg tilt like your picture shows. Your shifter would be as tilted aa your transmission is. It would not even fit in the console.

You bought a t5 mustang shifter. A t5 S10 shifter would also give you problem but I assume you notice how long it was. I will try to take pics again this weekend but you trans looks just like mine down to where the wiring harness bolts is.
It might be that the camaro has a different tail shaft on the Camaro t5. The 15 deg tilt along with torque arm mount makes it look different from a S10 T5. Most mustangs have a T5 in them. Most being the V6s.
Lets just say for a second its a T45:
Just look at your trans, it looks like it is untouched, all the orginal harness mountes no adapters nothing custom not a single bolt that does not look factory. Even the clutch hydralic line looks original. That level of a convertion would cost thousands of dollars and would had to been done by a pro. For what? do you have a 350 ft/lbs of Torque motor? Who would spend that kind of money or labor and not advertise it was a one of a kind convertion? If anyone went to that much trouble/cost they would have done a T56 6 speed not just a little strong 5 speed. That is why you can not find a Camaro with a t45 in it. It is simple not worth the work/money.
