Suitable Donor Car?

Suitable Donor Car?
So, I can't stand the fact that my 94 V6 Camaro is an automatic, and after a little searching on craigslist, I found a manual 94 V6 Firebird for dirt cheap dollars. My obvious question is, would this be a suitable donor car for the transmission and other items needed to perform the tranny swap?

Prolly, But you are going to have to swap out more than just the tranny. The PCM and wiring are also different, under the dash is different and I dont know if the petal support is the same on the FB as it is on the Camaro. The dash is totally different as is the console. As for the trans and diveline they should bolt right up. You will have to cut holes for the CMS. Not sure if I would want to do this swap really. I think I would be happier doing a V8 swap and I already know that is a pain in the tail.

Since it feels like the tranny doesn't have more than a year left in it, I figure if i'm going to plunk down the cash for a transmission, I may as well put in the transmission I want. Besides, I get all sorts of other goodies to swap in when stuff breaks on the camaro. Seeing as it's my daily driver, I know I'll need some time to do it; this is going to wait till the spring when I can use the bike to commute with.
...Just occurred to me that i could just swap the motor out of the camaro into the firebird... Then I have my manual F-Body.
duh.
