Default starting problem

finally, my car is nearly back to perfect condition. i had a new driveshaft installed and then had plugs, wires, and coils. the latter took care of the cylinder 5 misfire that came up when i had the car diagnosed. a couple other things that came up were the crankshaft position sensor and an o2 sensor. i don't have a catalytic converter, so could that be the cause for the o2 sensor reading? also, of the two things i mentioned, could either of those prevent the car from starting? if i turn the car off after at least 20 minutes of driving and go back out to it, it'll just crank and never fire up. it doesn't do this in the mornings or whatever after it's been sitting for a long time, only after running. it usually takes 10-30 minutes to get it going, but it always starts eventually. it runs nearly perfect though, i get a small miss every now and then, but for the most part, when i floor it, it doesn't hesitate. any ideas? any advice is highly appreciated.
