So I want to add a new Intake. I've heard everyone likes the SLP cold air intake.
I also found a 96-97 style airbox that will fit on a v6. The 2 styles are on this website. http://www.andysautosport.com/chevro...r_intakes/slp/ What would I be better off with?

I just bought a 97 Camaro and it has an SLP intake on it. Performs pretty well.

Question...what does the SLP airbox do?

Its the airbox from the 96-97 SS's, Its a ram air.
