Slp air lid
I have a 98 v6 and was wondering how hard it would be to use the slp air lid off a camaro with the LS1? I know that my throttle points down and towards the driver side. Amy imput as far as how hard or easy this is would be helpful

You could use it, but you will have to create a custom air connection to the throttle body.
Go meet up with someone who has one, test fit theirs and see what it looks like on there and what you will need -- you're going to want to remove that OEM sound claptrap as well!

I am not worried about fabricating the tubing. There really isnt much intake selection for the 98 that I have found. The K&N intake is about $400 from summit while the lid is only $100. I was thinking spending $100 for the lid and roughly $25 for tubing is much better than shelling out $400 especially if I want to get tge slp cold air kit.

Everywhere I look the K&N intake is between 300 and 400 dollars. And plus I like the look of the air lid. I am very wary of the eBay intakes I don't like how they put the filter at the bottom of the car.
