Default Should I get a whole new air intake system for my 99' Camaro V6??

Rumors are that the models from 98'-02' have a real good stock intake system. Should I just limit my investment by getting a K&N Air filter or should i get the whole air intake set? ?

Cool thanks, does that filter do anything? Cuz it looks like the stock filter just with a different color.

i just posted in this in your other thread but yes just get a K&n filter and then you can sand down teh baffles on the stock intake and that will be just as good as any cai that you can buy

Yea I know but I have a habit on asking questions twice, just have to make sure lol. I can't believe I have to put a new transmission, such a waste of money.

They flow better than stock, and are lifetime. You just have to clean them every now and then, and re-oil them. Very cheap to do.

Why do you have to put in a new transmission?

There's a weird popping sound when I try to go faster and when i gun it there's an odd clanking sound, feels like something will fall out. It runs perfect, but its just that popping sound that occurs when i go faster, but it'll also go away, but its always there. I took it to several mechanics and they said its the transmission so i have to go to a tranny shop. I hope its something else cuz trannys are expensive.
