I have a 94 3.4 5-speed and I was wondering if anybody has installed a short throw shifter in their camaro... I'm not sure if it's worth the money or not. I recently drove a Cobalt SS that had a short throw shifter in it and I thought it felt like a toy. I kinda like the long throw that the camaro has.

 

A good short throw shifter will run you about $200 i have a 2.8 and was looking at some for my 5spd and yes you can get them because i plan on putting one in my car. And on if its worth it, it all depends on what you do with your car...if you drag it then a short throw will help a little or any type of racing. For an everyday driver there is really no need
