I put sea foam in my brake booster line to clean out my system a bit, however now my car won't start! It's buggering the crap out of me, the starter will simply click one time and the car won't turn over at all. Anyone offer any information....it will be GREATLY appreciated!

I ruined a good 3800 last March by not getting the car warm enough, and pouring it in after it stalled, on an incline...

 

While the brake booster method sounds great on paper, I find it a little crude. As I've stated before, we should all be aware of what petroleum based solvents to to rubber, and that is completely deterioriate it. That is why carbeurators have Viton tipped jets rather than rubber. Anyhow, the most efficient way I've ever used seafoam is to use a 1:1 mix of seafom and gasoline and use it in a metal container that can be pressurized. Using shop air and a home made regulator, I was able to fit a line from the tank to the fuel rail test port and apply the correct amount of pressure. It's possible to remove a fuel pump relay and do this cleansing using the tank as the fuel delivery method. I, however, chose to use an injector pulser and pulsed each injector 50 times using the solution. It cleans the cylinders, top of the pistons, and thoroughly cleans the injectors themselves.

Eh, I let it sit for a while and it stuttered a bit, but started and did it's bit of smoking. Oh well, it idles a bit better now!
