You cant use the supercharged version of the 3.8 in an F-body. the supercharger wont fit and the way these cars are made it is impossible because of the windshield
You can buy a centrifugal supercharger for a 3.8 but they run at about 3,000

What you are trying to do is not a good idea. The 3.8 engine did not come with the 94's and you going to go through a whole lot of work to install it. Why bother installing supercharging a V6, when with less effort you can put in a V8 and get comparable results and a more reliable engine. The other problem, as mentioned above, you going to have problems with the height of the engine& supercharger combo, fitting uder the windshield.

very helpful. thanks guys.
what im tryin to do is find a way from stopping my 3.4 from being so depressing. its only got 86000 miles on it and its slow, my take off has dropped, i know i need a new clutch, and new muffler, and cat, but replacing those items wont be enough. im not looking to dump a ton of money into an economy engine, but what can i do to at least restore stock power?
as far as v-8 conversion, it would cost to much to convert to a v-8 wont it? i mean front suspension would have to be redone, motor mounts changed, exhaust changed, tranny changed, computer, radiator, rear, rear suspension, drive shaft, fuel lines and god only knows what else.
plus wont i have the clearance issue still?
and well if i was to convert to v-8 i would be want to mod the v8.
what would be best thing to do to this 3.4? just run a straight pipe through the cat (i'm in jersey) and replace my muffler, and clutch? will that eb enough to regain stock power?

tru.
pete quick question, is it worth rebuilding this 3.4?
like should i buy the kit offline and rebuild this engine to regain stock power or say screw it and sell the car?
if u say rebuild where do u think the best place to get the kit form is, and do u think i should go with parts that will add a little pep to this little tub?
thanks for ur time

I was really itching to do an LT1 swap, but after thinking about it, I decided that since I didn't plan on racing the car and just wanted a cruiser, the 3.4L will do...
A lot of what you mentioned isn't necessary for the LT1, like rear axle and suspension or brakes or fuel lines, but six hour spark plug changes don't inspire me, either...
Want to add pep, port/polish the heads and intake manifolds and add in a cam. You've just taken care of the (byy far) most restrictive parts of a 3.4L right there...the stickies detail this stuff.
