Default Rims

1996 RS 3.8 V6 4spd. I want the widest rims possible under the rear end of my camaro, not only because it looks badass but I'd like as much tread back there as possible. All I can find are Corvette and Firebird rims. It's wierd because I have a bunch of different wheel but they all stick out. I guess what I should be asking is how to measure so that the wheel is flush with the body but goes in as deep as possible. Reccomendations? Thanks.

Default rims

I have a 2000, and i wanted some fatties under the *** end of mine too. I went with American Racing Torque Thrust IIs. the fronts are 17x9.5, and 17x11 on the rear. they barely fit but cause no problems, and look great!! However, i dont know if our cars are the same, my guess would be that they are basically identical. just be prepared to pay a lot for the wheels and tires. If you wanna see what it would look like, just Google image search camaro torque thrusts. Good Luck!
