Default Rims

Ok i have a firebird but i figure if they arent the same they are damn close. Well when i bought the car it had eagle wheels on it, and i couldnt get em off, wrong lugnuts and no key anywhere in the car to get them off. Took it to a little shop today.....turns out these rims dont even fit the car, they fit the lug pattern, but whatever that little raised area is in the break rotor does not fit into the rim. Getting the rim on square is entirely a human issue. Yea thats just awesome, to compound my joy, i now have 4 different types of lug nuts on the car, but atleast i can get them all of and finally replace the brakes lol. Ok now that the formalities are out of the way, my new dillema is finding new rims, actually OEM rims, preferably off of a trans am but ill take whatever i can get. When i asked the mechanic about that, he said to be careful because sometime in the 90's the rear rims and front rims were different between firebirds and transams, the lug pattern was obvioiusly the same but the depth was different. Has anyone else heard this? and would that have been the case between v6 camaros and z-28's? Well after some searching i found some rims http://omaha.craigslist.org/pts/465043714.html but those dont look like oem wheels. Anyway i need new ones and for 85 hell i can swallow that cost if they dont fit quite right. Just wondering if anyone else has had problems like this or has any info that could shed light on the situation. Sorry bout the long post!!
