Default Rear defrost

I was just wondering if everyone else's rear defrost was as crappy as mine... (1994)

there was a lite covering of snow (1/4") this morning and what didnt blow off took 20min to melt!
the last car (not camaro) that I had would have done the job in 2-3min

Iam thinking that the wires are damaged somewhere.......... any tips?

Usually if the wires are damaged, it won't stay on. It does stay on right?

Mine(97) works like a charm, I probablywouldn't even have to scrape and it'll clear it all within 5 minutes, so it must be something wrong

Ya i also have a 97, and it makes pretty quick work of it. You must have something not working right.
