Random squeal

Now I'm told the tranny ship that looked at it says the PCV system it clogged and the noise is being made by air being sucked through the rear main seal. Would that be plausible?*

Ok I'm told it defiantly the PCV. When I changed the valve I didn't put a new gasket on it. Could that cause the sound

Turns out the excessive vacuum in my cars engine was due to the upper intake gasket being sucked in to one of the intake ports

kool, good to hear, hope you changed both upper and lower while you had things apart.

Yep replaced them with the metal gaskets.
