Default Quick Question(3800 Timing Chain Area)

I am in the middle of a rebuild and when I went to put on the timing chain.. it was blocked by a piece underneath. I loosened that piece and slipped the timing chain all the way on but it is still stiff against the chain.

I figured I have just bent it accidently but I am just double-checking.

Nothing should be touching the chain expected the damper. Don't forget crank and cam bolts are one time use, you need to replace them with new ones.

Here's the only pic I had of mine when I did my cam install.

You can get those bolts at zzpperformace and intense racing
