they do not make a programmer for my car (something about 98 3.8?) and im not taking it out and sending it away to get it programed. i want to do something to the computer and was thinking of the jet chip stage 2. can any one give me any feedback at all.

 

Your car is a 98, so the computer does not accept chips, like there is no place to install them. You need to reprogram the computer, either with a hand held unit which you said is not available, or with a laptop loaded with a PCM editing program, exchange the PCM with a preprogrammed one, or drive to a shop that does dyno tuning.

 

on the pass. side fire wall there is a computer thing that your sopost to take out the bottom one and stick the jet one in. then plug back in the reg computer thing into the jet one. and it will give you 15 -17 hp lol.
