Default pushrod knock

i think i have pushrod knock. how much would it cost to fix it? 1993 camaro 3.4L V6

would it be more cost efficient to drop a 3.8L into it?

it could berod knock(connecting rod) meaning spun bearing, piston slap, lifter tick, no such thing as pushrod knock. pushrod is a rod that sits on alifter that rides on the cam, and goes up to the rocker arm to open and close the valves. they dont make noise.

heavier oil for right now. From what I understand and have taken from other posters, is the 3.8 is a real mother to work on in these cars. If I where considering engine replacement I would go with stock or upgrade all the way to a v-8
