The diffenents is being able to drive it on the road or not. Like I said how well it works does not matter to the inspectors. Of course O2 sensor placement is critical in any fuel injection system. I can remember GM changing Y pipe designs and O2 sensor placement trying to get car running better.

Also I trying not to discourage the lad. Once he sees what a PITA it is to add the EGR tube on his own set he will never offer to do it for someone else

Be glad he hasn't. He'd call you a moron

I try not to discourage people too much but I don't want him wasting so much time and money on absolutely nothing.
