Default Posessed Cd player

Ok.. My cd player in my car turns on and off whenever it wants, usually it isnt bad but lately its barely even comming on.. I've heard or people having problems like this before but it may have been with the stock system, not sure. Anyway, im pretty sure none of the wires have a short in them but is that about the only thing that can be wrong? Its really annoying, but its acting like its a short. I kinda hope thats the problem though, at least its something i can fix.

Does it turn off when you go over a bump or take a corner?

In my old camaro my cd player used to cut out when i took right turns at moderate speed... it was a loose connection. Pull out you deck and check the wires to make sure theyre all in good shape... its a good place to start

I thought my sterio was posessed before. I started to spew green chunks, my head was spinning in 360 degree circles and I was cursing in foriegn tounges. Then I noticed some one had changed it to a counrty station.[:'(]

Default Posessed Cd player/Wipers/Power windows

I have a 1998 and am having the same issues. Wipers will work if I use the washer to turn them on. Also the radio will cut out when I hit a bump but will turn on with a slight tap to the dash directly over the radio. The power windows will not work while the radio is out?????? I have checked the connections to the radio and all seems OK. This sounds to me like some sort of computer trouble not a loose connection but you never know.

Thanks in advanced

that to me sounds like possibly a poor ground connection... in my old 94 this happened and alot of things were messed up cause of it.... the stereo and the wiper motors could share a common ground... it might be worth looking into...
