yep thats what there talking about. the powder coater blasted mine before painting so i know its gona stick.

I painted my intake on my 3800 and it looks great. I also took and files off the 3800 Series II lettering that is on the top and made it look machined off. I love it. I used normal Krylon paint since the intake is usually not going to get that hot. Like someone already said if it gets hot enough to ruin the paint the paint is the last of your worries.

Smile Lt1 intake manifold powder coated

I had my lt1 intake manifold powder coated from a company called V6Fixit.com. The manifold was nasty lookin and in rough shape. When i got it back it looked bran new. I had it done gloss black and for a very decent price. Much cheaper then what Austin powder coating was going to charge me. I'm very happy with it These guys will powder coat anything! I'm going to have my valve covers done next.

I've heard of putting clearcoat on it, but never seen it.

I'm not sure what they did but it shines real nice.
