I see ridiculously cheap performance parts on ebay (chips, modulators, air intakes, etc.)

Anybody have much experience with this stuff or know what type of stuff they're passing off as good?

 

they pretty much try to pass all there junk off as good. especially stay away from the "speed chips"

 

Yeah my dad bought a "speed chip" off of e-bay which was supposed to improve gas mileage and acceleration. It turned out to be a 25 cent resistor you can buy from radioshack. I tend to buy parts from private sellers rather than e-bay stores. I'd be cautious if you see a bunch of identical items listed in a row because I was looking for an intake and people try to pass of cheap intakes with a K&N filter as K&N intake systems.

 

Kinda figured. Dang scams.
