liberty mutual =]

yeh their online quotes are usualyl way off, jsut fyi but i think thats how all insurance ones are, just there to reel you in or give you an idea. if you go for a switch best bet is to call them.

I have found that if you already have a policy through a company and you want a new car/new quote that its a bit more accurate than looking for free quotes online through a different company.

Well,as far as where i live the insurance on my v6 compared to a v8 is identical...im with progressive. Now as far as my decision to go with the v6 was due to a big family, even with us all pitching in we barely break even.As of right now i just can't afford the 02 z im wanting, later this summer around june it will be a different situation due to some money coming in.But up until then i have no complaints about my little 3.4,itsgreat on gas and ive outrun a couple foxbody stangs and what i believe was a 95 with the v8.By no means am i saying it's a powerhouse but it gets the job done.As far as modding a v6 or a v8,yes modding the v8 with 3 to 4k will produce better power but,ive seen a 3.4l turbo pushing over 300hp.Having said that i would still go with the v8 due to the difference in cash and performance.Anyway i had to get my two cents in lol, although im sure ill get bashed by the v8 and v6 people now.

No offense but im calling bs. the 95 4.6L may be slow but its got 215hp compared to the 3.4Ls 160hp and the Mustang is lighter. Maybe you ran against a V6 with GT badges and dual exhaust. ive seen my share of those and the mustang 3.8L has like 140hp.

As with me, i also have a v6 3.4l '95 amaro and it is the same cost as a v8. im with progressive.

Ive got the good grade discount even thoive got two Cs right now and i may have rounded down how many miles i drive the car a week but i doubt those things are making my policy so cheap..
