Default PCV valve gasket?

I took off the pcv cover and it had a gasket. Where can I find a new one?

I dont see anything about a gasket on that site and everywhere I look no one says anything about there even being one. So does it matter if there is one?

Auto zone, napa, o riellys. Pretty much any parts store should have the pcv valve and gasket.

I'm not talking about the rubber oring. The gasket that I'm talking about goes in-between the intake and the PVC cap. Autozone doesn't have anything that will fit

In a pinch, I imagine RTV could be used. Or just custom cut some gasket material yourself...

Try napa. Someone's got to have that gasket. Or just get some gasket material and do what liberty said.

Chevy101,

If it was installed at the factory then there must have been some justification for putting it on there. Now whether or not you can drive your car regularly without a PCV valve gasket is another matter. Just to be safe, I would either look for the part on gmpartsgiant.com or employ the cost-effective sealant gasket measure..
