EGR code..i know sort of how to starthere but i just wnted to know if yhere was a really common section that causes this. I didnt get to even check the gas cap cause i had to go straight from oreillys to class then i have to go to work..so ive fone nothing but clear the code. Ive noticed maybe an exhaust leak (its getting louder up towarda the cat ) and my gas mileage has gone to hell. So..there it is haha thanks again guys.

The EGR valve is not operating properly. Remove it, clean out all the crud in the valve and the exhaust gas passages (EGR plumbing). Re-install the valve, clear the DTC, and see if the light stays off.
