Wife has these two codes and runs rough then dies. She was coming up a hill, she said it started chugging and a loud pop and died. I had just changed the oil last weekend, so I checked it and looked clean. Need help ASAP.

 

what year and model/engine, sounds like the 02 sensor on the passenger side is acting up and probly needs replacing. that shouldnt kill the motor unless its went on for some time and fouled plugs. better scann again.

 

Or if it went on for some time and a rich condition caused a meltdown inside the cat converter. I'd have your exhaust (cat) checked for a restriction, that would make the engine stall out. The 02 sensor codes are the cause, a restricted cat could be the effect.

 

It's a 1999 with the v6, these came up just recently.
